Did you know that according to the ASPCA, each year 7-8 million pets enter the shelter system. Of those 7-8 million, 3-4 million of them are euthanized before they find new homes. Over half of the animals that enter the shelters never make it out! That is an astonishing number. I have set out on a journey to make a difference. I alone am just a drop in the bucket, but imagine if everyone made an effort to change the course of these animals life, and prevent future unwanted animals. The bucket would be overflowing with people making a difference.
I have taken the first step on my journey. That is where Cami comes into the picture. I adopted Cami from the animal shelter yesterday. My plan for Cami is to raise her until she is up-to-date on shots, and old enough to be spayed. Then find a loving home for her to go to. For now this is what the budget allows, so my hopes are that after placing Cami in a new home I will start the process all over again with another shelter animal. Making a difference one life at a time. I will be keeping updates of Cami and her progress on here along with more information of how we can help. So join me.
